The implementation as far as SaaS goes was simply hook up to the server. There was no issue at all. It was easy as that. It is comforting to know that our servers are being looked after elsewhere.
Manny has been helping us with Insight Software Spreadsheet Server. He figured out something that their own techs struggled with. I really appreciate his attitude and willingness to go above and beyond.

When we did our due diligence in searching for a new accounting system, we narrowed our search down to three different providers. Each offered, for the most part, the same type of software and features that my company needed. What set BlueLink apart from the other two was the level of engagement we received from our initial phone call. We immediately felt at home and had not just the right software, but the right partner to grow our business. That partnership remains even stronger today. As to the software, the ERP interface is perfect for our wholesale distribution company. From tracking inbound ocean containers to automated reporting, BlueLink saves us both time and money. One area that has really stood out for our organization is the level of customization we have been able to implement over the past 24 months that has really helped us streamline our operations. This level of customization would not be possible without the partnership we have been able to build over the past few years. BlueLink’s software interface at times feels somewhat dated and can create some challenges in navigation. Their periodic updates have addressed many of these issues and has helped with additional drill-down capabilities. Database management with our SKU count can be somewhat cumbersome and we have worked with BlueLink to help address and improve.
Things will happen but you guys, the customer service, the IT Team it’s easy to get someone on the phone. Even Darren helped me out directly one night…. and that really is the bottom line.
Blue Link's system is easy to use and very intuitive once you under it and the multitude of features. The new interface is visually appealing and allows for an even better experience.
Once you get the handle of it, Blue Link is pretty intuitive to use. There is great flexibility in reporting and customer service is always on top of any issues and features we are looking to add.

After using Syspro ERP for the past 18 years, we made the painful but necessary transition to a new ERP system. After a thorough review we decided on Blue Link Associates hosted offerings. To say the prospect of this change evoked trepidation and anxiety for our management team would be an understatement. Having used our old ERP system for so long, we had created an enormous database of information, luckily both systems utilized SQL but the data conversion added an additional layer of apprehension……….. But Darren and his team, first remotely and then over a week on-site achieved a near “flawless” conversion to their Blue Link Elite ERP platform and had us working in the new system almost immediately. This was an incredible feat only made possible through experience and knowledge, both of which I can attest they have an abundance of. Now after six months working with the product and the Blue Link team, our only regret is that we did not make this move years ago. Over the past few months we have been “tweaking” the product and adding customized changes that have been a real asset to our specific operations, best of all without “breaking the bank” to do so. No matter how big or small the issue or inquiry, Blue Link’s support team has been the most welcome component of this upgrade. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, prompt and courteous, they are also “very fair” when it comes to billing for these extremely important services, they have held our hand through this entire process (and still are). All members of the company/team are readily available and accessible which has also been of comfort during this entire process. In my 35+ years in the computer industry and as an IT Admin, their support on a daily basis had been, and by far, the most professional, competent and efficient process that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. 2 years ago, we had a major issue where our computer server went down and we were unable to get most of those files back. Blue Link allowed us to host our information and our system on their server in their office. For 2 months we had constant support from the Blue Link team to ensure that we could continue to run our business.

Everything is fine, it works just wonderfully. We just check the purchase order against the invoice, make sure there are no discrepancies, verify the bill of lading, and the system creates the Customs Declaration Form, the accounting voucher, and the cheque amount. It’s a three to five-minute process, and saves a lot of time.
I would highly recommend this software. We are using the hosted version and have not had any issues with connection or down time. And not having to host the server in-house has enabled us to focus on growing our business instead of dealing with IT issues.
If you’re looking for an ERP what you’re really looking for is a company to partner with and with Blue Link you’re in luck. Blue Link is designed such that we have yet to find a something they cannot do. Add to this their excellent people and you have a winning recipe.

Our old system, before Blue Link, used to calculate landed costs for an entire shipment. We would then have to go into each individual item and apply landed costs manually. With Blue Link, it’s nice to have those costs allocated to all items on the order automatically. Another great feature is the ability to calculate landed costs even before receiving items when creating a PO.
We’ve probably gone from 30 orders a day in the past, to probably 100 with being able to just one-by-one get the orders out.
I have been through numerous software changes and this was BY FAR the easiest, most efficient and painless transition that I have been through. It has been smooth sailing since and we love the system.
Liana and I are of course getting excited about retiring. Our last day will be September 26 so the finish line is within sight now. We would like to think we have left the company in good shape and in a large part that has been because of our decision to use Blue Link as our accounting package. We almost feel that you are part of the company because of the close working relationship we have. Thanks once again for marketing a great product and supporting it with a devoted staff.

We have been using BL for a number of years now. We have a quite integrated platform, connecting our inventory management, warehouse management, accounting, CRM, website platform, and EDI relationships. Working quite closely with the team at BL has been very enjoyable and progressive. BL has supported our business through new developments and custom coding as we have grown over the years.

We’ve gone from not being able to understand where inventory is to having complete visibility of our inventory at every moment of time – whether it’s sitting on a cart, whether its in a bin, regardless of where it might be.

Blue Link has been amazing right from the sales team, support, training…everything. We couldn’t have asked for a better partnership with an operating system.
We import two containers of produce weekly and checking the line items and different categories are now all set up and the man doing that job just breezes through it. Previously, he would spend about three or four hours; now it takes him 30 minutes – and that’s if he’s slow and takes a coffee break!
Blue Link is a unique environment in terms of you have to be ready to embrace it, but if you’re willing to really make that effort from a company standpoint and you really get your staff on board, it’s pretty phenomenal.
After much research to find the right ERP system for our industrial products company we decided to switch to Blue Link Elite. One of the founders, Mark Canes was instrumental in our decision process. He did several demos to ensure that the software would meet all of our needs and also added some custom features so the system would fit our business model. The technical team led by Darren Myher helped ensure a seamless transition from QuickBooks to Blue Link and while we had some small issues along the way (which is to be expected for such an undertaking) the team was always available for questions. I would highly recommend this software. We are using the hosted version and have not had any issues with connection or down time. And not having to host the server in house has enabled us to focus on growing our business instead of dealing with IT issues.
The software is working way better than our previous software. The support team has been remarkable, when we submit a case it gets fixed in a very timely manner. We are still working out the kinks but we are getting there.
